The Joint Force faces significant challenges in maintaining supply chains and logistics capabilities during contested logistics operations, where traditional supply routes may be compromised or inaccessible. A networked system of expeditionary point-of-need advanced manufacturing solutions would enable distributed production of critical components and supplies directly where they are needed, reducing vulnerability to supply chain disruptions. This project aims to allow innovators in industry, academia, and government to demonstrate their capabilities in a simulated contested logistics environment for operational validation.
1) Enable collaboration and participation by selected performers in upcoming CPX/FTX events.
2) Selected performers demonstrate their novel capabilities for assessment and feedback from government stakeholders.
